Tuition Fees Include:

• Morning/Afternoon snacks

• Consumable/Supply fees

Registration Fee:

• $200.00 per child initial registration fee

• $100.00 per child annual registration

Security Deposit: $300.00 per child (refundable upon 30 day written notice, due with registration)

Full Time Days:

• 5 Full Days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• 3 Full Days - Monday, Wednesday, Friday

INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE: $200 + $300 security deopsit due at time of enrollment to insure your child's placement. First Month's Tuition is due before your child's first day of attendance.

TUITION: Tuition is billed weekly and is due Friday for the next week of care. All checks should be made payable to The Pear Tree. The Pear Tree reserves the rate to increase tuition and other charges upon one month's prior written notice. Additionally, The Pear Tree reserves the right to charge you for all costs, both internal and external, incurred as a result of your actions. Those costs may include, by way of example but not limited to, attorneys' fees incurred in connection with custody or divorce proceedings. copying costs for files of records, reimbursement of payroll expenses for employees who testify at your request, and other similar expenses incurred by The Pear Tree as a result of your actions.

ABSENCES: Tuition must be paid in full without deduction for absences of any duration or for any cause, and without substitution of other days of attendance as "make up" days. This is necessary due to staffing and operational costs that are incurred on the basis of fixed levels of enrollment.

WITHDRAWAL: The obligation for full payment of tuition continues until the date indicated by the parent or guardian as the date of withdrawal. The parent or guardian agrees to furnish The Pear Tree with at least 30 (thirty) days written notice of such date of withdrawal, and failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and tuition for the month of withdrawal. The security deposit will be refunded with a thirty-day written notice of intended withdrawal.

NON-HIRING AGREEMENT: You agree that you will not solicit and/or hire any person who is or was an employee of The Pear Tree at any time during the 12 (twelve) months prior to such hiring by you, to perform childcare and/or teaching services, including, without limitation, for purposes of being a nanny. You understand and agree that under then circumstances, it is impracticable or extremely difficult to fix actual damages for your violation of this provision and, therefore, you agree that in the event you violate this provision, you will pay The Pear Tree as liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, the sum of $3000.00 per child plus 12 (twelve) months tuition at the rate you were paying at the time of such hiring. You further understand and agree that this restriction is reasonable, and that The Pear Tree will suffer damages as a result of your violation of this restriction that will be difficult to calculate, but that the above-referenced amount is a reasonable estimate of such damages. You also understand that this monetary remedy is in addition to, and not in lieu of, all equitable rights that The Pear Tree may have as a result of such violation such as the right of The Pear Tree to seek temporary and/or permanent injunctive relief prohibiting your further violation of this restriction.

FINANCIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: We have specifically reviewed each of the provisions of this agreement and the Parent Guidebook and hereby agree to comply with all of the provisions thereof. This agreement is subject to the terms and conditions of the Parent Guidebook, and I understand that these guidelines may change periodically.
